iWavenology was founded in 2020 by a research and development team from the Dept. of Electrical Engineering at National Taiwan University.
We specialize in communication technologies, excelling in critical capabilities including precision, real-time responsiveness, scalability, and wide-area coverage.
With cutting-edge expertise and applications in wireless communications, We became the first private company in Taiwan to deploy and operate our innovative
wireless detection and positioning systems in national facilities. Our solutions have already been adopted by industries across Europe, the United States, and Asia.
We integrate key IC modules with self-developed antennas and firmware algorithms to deliver high-performance, versatile, and cost-efficient wireless locators.
These solutions have been applied in integrated UAV detection-and-counter systems, autonomous vehicles, drones, smart factories, smart hospitals, and robotics,
positioning iWavenology at the forefront of the next wave of advanced wireless communication technologies.
iWavenology was founded by Professor Shao-Kang Mao and a team of Electrical Engineering students from National Taiwan University (NTU).
Motivated by the observation that many outstanding university graduates are unable to fully apply their academic knowledge and research potential after entering the industry, Professor Mao sought to bridge the gap between academic research and industrial application.
Leveraging his over 30 years of expertise in wireless communications, he established iWavenology to create a platform where young talents can transform laboratory innovations into impactful commercial solutions.
Today, over 50% of the company’s workforce is dedicated to research and development.
At iWavenology, innovation in wireless positioning and tracking has always been at the heart of what we do.
By combining AI edge computing with proprietary IC design, circuitry, and antenna modules, we create high-performance, precision wireless positioning systems powered by advanced AI algorithms.
Our technology overcomes the common challenges of traditional systems — from inaccurate image recognition to limited range, high power consumption, and cost — delivering a fully integrated hardware–software solution that defines our competitive edge.
