Standard handheld anti-drone jammers are typically fitted with high-magnification scopes and can, in theory, visually acquire distant targets. However, they suffer from aiming instability and visibility-dependent performance, making long-range targeting difficult.
iAutojam can be expanded with an automatic tracking module that locks onto target drones by tracking GNSS coordinates to determine the relative position between the drone and the jammer, enabling reliable countermeasures independent of visibility.
When iAutojam transmits a jamming signal, the drone’s GNSS signal and its command-and-control link with the remote controller are disrupted and blocked, forcing the drone into Return-to-Home (RTH), Attitude (ATTI), or automatic Landing modes for effective mitigation.
Additionally, iAutojam employs a directional antenna and suppression design for spurious emissions to avoid affecting nearby equipment or people. The jammer is configured as an integrated two-part system: the transmitter weighs under 2 kg, with auxiliary modules housed in a shoulder pack; the complete system weighs under 6 kg, making it handheld-friendly for extended operations.
